There is a great demand for top-notch professionally certified reflexologists all over the U.S.
You can open your own business, work for a spa, or work for healthcare services (ie, cancer centers, podiatrists, chiropractic, physical therapy), as well as help yourself, your friends and family.
You will earn 300 hours of comprehensive training in a supportive environment. Once you graduate you will be valued and recognized as a true Professional Reflexologist.
You can complete your training in 5 months.
The program is held twice a year, starting either in January or July. It is a mix of both online and in-person classes. Your instructor is always available for any questions or clarification that you need regarding your reflexology classes.
Online classes are held via zoom, on Thursday evenings, usually 3 times per month.
In-person classes are held on Saturday or Sunday, usually 3 times per month in the Chicago area.
Professional Reflexology School offers a 300-hour reflexology certification course two times per year.
Designed for those who wish to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of reflexology. Students who successfully complete the course will also be prepared to take the ARCB (American Reflexology Certification Board) national exam which is required for becoming a national board-certified reflexology practitioner.

180 hours of both virtual and in-person lessons in:
· Reflexology fundamentals, including definition, history, benefits, guidelines, zones maps, Various approaches, research studies, terminology, body mechanics and self care for the practitioner
· Anatomy and Physiology
· Skills & Practice in person, hands on, including palpation of the foot, techniques, supervised in class practicum
· Pathology and assessment including pathologies for each body system, biomechanics of the foot/gait, client assessment to form a session plan, chart notation and documentation, supervised clinic with report writing and review
· Business management and practice, including the business of reflexology, ethics & management, and professional organizations/associations
You are assigned and expected to complete various types of homework including
· research reports
· state legislative research
· papers on organs and glands
· case studies
· clinical practice during the program
· 95 hours performed on your own, for which you provide written documentation, which is turned into the instructor for review and feedback.
· Students shall have an active role in class participation.
· Students are expected to be on time and attend all classes.
· Students must attend no less than 80% of all class hours within the program timeframe. If student must miss a class, student will communicate this to instructor asap and schedule a make-up class with payment of $60 per hour for additional time given. Make up classes must be completed by end of 4th month of the course (course is 5 months long).
· Quizzes throughout the course require a score of 80% or above to pass. If less than 80% is achieved, students will retake the quiz to prove comprehension of lesson taught.
· Final Exam and Practical Exam require a score of 80% or above to pass. Both of these exams are required to be taken in person.
· Students will submit assigned homework as directed by instructor.
· 95 one-hour documented sessions will be given by the student outside of class time, not to begin before completion of the 4th month of the course and to be completed no later than 6 months after the final exam is taken and passed.
· In the 5th month of the course, student will provide a session to the instructor that will be graded by techniques used and how questions are addressed. This is in preparation for the Practical Exam (which also involves a hands-on session with instructor).
Deposit & Application fee $400 nonrefundable and will be applied to the total registration of $4,400.
Once your deposit has been received, this leaves a balance of $4,000 which can be paid:
· In 1 up-front in-full payment of $3,600, providing a discount of 10% and savings of $400. Fees are non-refundable.
· in 5 monthly payments of $800 (totals $4000). Once an installment payment is made, it is non-refundable.

Enrollment: must be done no later than 10 days prior to start date of course by filling out an Enrollment Agreement and paying the Deposit & Application Fee of $400.
Entrance requirements: Student must be 18 years of age or older.
Auditing program: Graduates are welcome to observe and participate in classes to refresh their skills.
· Enrollment agreement may be canceled within 5 business days of date of signing. The amount of the refund will be determined after the deduction of 1) the Deposit & Application Fee of $400, and 2) any Square fees that may have been applied.
· If student becomes ill and unable to complete course, the student will provide a Doctor’s explanation in writing, and shall be entitled to special consideration. The school may but is not required to settle for a refunded amount which is less than what the student has paid. Student may be entitled to resume the course the next time the program runs.

· Protocols for specific diseases and conditions
· Pathology and contraindications
· Pathologies of the human foot
· Client assessment
· Proper documentation of a session

You will also receive a complete Program Manual on the first day of in person classes at no charge.
Online classes require handy access to your program manual and textbook.
In person classes require:
· Large towel
· Zero-gravity chair Timber Ridge (contact instructor for recommendation prior to purchase). Your chair and towel are required starting the 2nd in-person class day.
· Your program manual and textbook.
· Physical abuse or harassment of any kind
· Smoking on the premises
· Consumption of drugs or alcohol
· Vandalism
The following items will not be permitted in the classes:
· Sound and recording devices of any kind
· Mobile phones must be turned off and put away
A schedule of class dates will be provided upon request.
